What is your return policy?
StepnDry kits may be returned for any reason in the original packaging and with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number.
If the kit is returned because it is faulty, StepnDry will credit the freight charges in addition to the purchase price.
If the purchaser has simply decided that they do not want the product after all, the purchaser will be responsible for the return freight charges.
The kit must be returned in the original packaging and packed as originally packed to protect the components.
Credit will be issued for the original purchase amount less the price of any kit components that are returned damaged, used, or are missing.
This includes any damage occurring in shipping because of improper packing.
Taxes will also be credited accordingly.
All returns will require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number prior to being shipped.

Can I install this on any garage floor?
Yes with these exceptions:
• floors with a silicone based coating or sealer coat
• floors with an acrylic based coating or sealer coat
• floors which have been coated or painted but the coating or paint is not secure.
• Tile floors
If you are adhering Step n Dry to a painted or coated surface that is not secure, the paint or coating may let go when the rails are hit by wagons, rolling or dragged garbage pails or even feet or other objects. Having the rails raised above the floor level, even a small amount, can cause stress on a coating which may cause it to fail.
Do I need to seal cracks in my garage floor?
Yes. You will need to seal the cracks inside the Step n Dry containment tray system in order to keep water from migrating under the rails and outside the containment area. You may use the adhesive that comes with the kit to do this or other a concrete patch material.
Does the kit contain everything I need?
Except for tools, yes. Other than the tools required for cleaning the floor prior to installation, you will need the usual suspects plus, a hacksaw or other method for trimming aluminum rails, a carpenter’s square or large object with two edges square to one another (minimum 18” x 18”). The kit includes rails, connectors, locator strips, adhesive/sealant and full instructions for installation.
Can someone else install this for me?
Yes. We are developing a dealer network which includes qualified concrete contractors, floor coaters and garage builders. Call us and we’ll help you find someone to install for you.
Can I install this when it is cold?
You can but the temperature in the garage needs to be maintained above freezing for approximately 24 hours after the kit is installed. This can be done with portable heaters. Momentary opening and quick closing of garage doors to bring vehicles into other bays of the garage are ok.
How long does my car have to stay out of the garage?
Normally your car will have to stay out of the garage for 48 hours. This applies to children and pets and less than very careful adults as well.
Can the Step n Dry system be painted or epoxy coated?
Yes, spray coated after 4 hours and roller coated after 24 hours.

STEPNDRY COLLECTS SALES TAX in states where we have physical presence (or nexus), including Minnesota. StepnDry also collects sales tax in states that have adopted the Streamlined Sales and Use Tax Agreement (SSUTA), including Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
STEPNDRY DOES NOT COLLECT SALES TAX in any state NOT listed above because StepnDry is not required to collect sales or use tax in these states.
